Sangiovese is one of the oldest known varieties in the world. This Sangiovese is a perfect example of this accessible, ready to drink style; perfectly medium bodied with red fruit flavours and a deliciously savoury finish.
It's slightly perfumed, slightly minerally and very tasty. With a richly textured palate and a touch of residual sweetness that is characteristic of the Pinot Gris style. Perfect white for salads and seafood.
This block is normally blended with Shiraz but in 2019 the juice was so delicious Ian & Suzanne decided to release a small volume under their Little Gem label. Made in a beautifully crisp, zippy style this is simply a lovely drink.
A very welcome return of this beautiful variety to the Little Wine Co. Petit Verdot has long been used as a blending component it is increasingly being given the chance show its true colours as a varietal wine.
Our first release of Barbera under the Little Gem label from the fantastic 2018 vintage. Brooding aromas of blood plum and dark jubes. The palate is filled with delicious, plush fruit characters of currant and blackberry supported by warm, velvety tannins.
